Fundraising / Donor Development Associate (Part-time, Remote)

The Fundraising / Development Associate will be focused on building and promoting the organization's growth and sustainability by developing funding opportunities and creating and maintaining donors and partnerships on a national, regional and local level. 

This is a fully remote, part time role in a small organization that requires comfort with leveraging technology to build and manage relationships throughout the country. 

This role requires balancing a variety of priorities from internal stakeholders such as IMUSA's Board of Directors and our Trainers and Members, and external stakeholders through partnerships and the communities we serve. On a day-to-day basis, this role works independently with the support and management of the Executive Director.

In this role, you’ll


  • Work with the Executive Director to develop strategic plans for donor engagement, partnerships, fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Plan and manage fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, volunteer engagement and new partnerships.
  • Provide outreach through outbound calling, social media, email marketing and other platforms.
  • Identify and cultivate prospective donors and partners.
  • Project manage and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Create marketing materials and communication strategies.
  • Develop fundraising policies and reporting and communicate the organization's impact.

Our ideal candidate has


  • 3 - 5 years experience in a fundraising or sales environment.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Experience with relationship building and email marketing.
  • Experience with donor development and fundraising at a regional and national level.
  • Experience with Facebook management and engagement.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lead and support multiple tasks simultaneously at a high level.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management software
  • G-Suite programs and tools, especially Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, and Forms. 

This is a part-time (~20 - 25 hours) employee role with an hourly rate. There is an additional monthly remote work benefit of $75/month. Location in New Hampshire or Colorado is preferred.


Infant Massage USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was founded in 2005 as the US chapter of the International Association of Infant Massage.

Our mission is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education, and research. Our organization is a nationwide network of the small staff, the Board of Directors, the Trainers and Members.

Our primary programming is providing Certified Educator of Infant Massage training. Infant Massage USA Trainers provide comprehensive, evidence-informed four-day courses across the country. After attending the four-day course and receiving certification, our Certified Educators (CEIMs) hold individual and group classes in their communities to teach parents / caregivers and their infants. These classes support communities by improving the physical and emotional well-being of babies, enhancing parent-infant bonding, and facilitating long-term, positive emotional development in families.
